Day trip to the Humantay Lagoon, a few hours from Cusco, a walk that will take us to this lagoon, with its crystal clear waters, close to the Salkantay Glacier.
Departure at 06.30 to go to the Humantay Lagoon. After about 4 hours of travel – with private vehicle and guide – we will reach the starting point of this trek, Soraypampa, at a height of about 3800 m. From Soraypampa we will begin our walk uphill (about an hour and a half, you can rent horses on the way uphill) to the Humantay Lagoon (4200 m) with an unforgettable view of the lagoon and the nearby mountains of Salkantay and Humantay. Free time available to expose the place. Descent of about an hour to Soraypampa.
Lunch in a family restaurant and return to Cusco scheduled for about 18.30.

The walk will make you reach the 4200 m, the height makes you feel, you have to walk slowly, on site you can rent – if available – the horses for the climb. Excursion only for people in good physical shape.
